AMA Americana Radio Chart
on March 24, 2008. “60 Watt Avenue”. Their album also hit #21
on
the Americana (AMA) internet radio chart on the week of March 3, 2008. They're
also hit #2 on the Roots
Music Report - Roots Rock chart on March 13, 2008. The also did well on the
EuroAmericana radio
chart at #7, and hit #14 on the Freeform
Americana Radio (F.A.R.) chart. The Whipsaws can be heard all over the world
on radio stations and via satellite radio on XM and Sirius.

Neck Mules Pull the Brake
Pull the Brake contains 15 tracks and was recorded at Haunted
Hollow Studio (Charlottesville, Virginia) with producer Chris Kress and engineer
Rob Evans. The album features special guests Bonnie "Prince" Billy (Will
Oldham, Palace et al), Brian Jones (Agents of Good Roots), Anne Marie Calhoun-Simpson
(Old School Freight Train), Rob Evans (Watts Passage), Matt Pierson, and Bo Vaughan.
Husband/wife team CC & Laurie Rider sing drinking songs, torch songs and rock songs. All of their influences, experiences, and songwriting are on display on the EP-sized album called Black Holiday in Mexico City.
